Set in the early 1990s Czech Republic and inspired by the Bambini di Praga scandal, Broken Voices follows 13-year-old aspiring singer Karolína as she joins her older sister in a world-renowned girls choir. Her exceptional talent draws the intense attention of the charismatic yet domineering choirmaster Mácha, who grooms her for stardom.
