After the death of her grandfather, a young woman named Ash travels to his remote Texas ranch with her girlfriend and cousin. They quickly discover the property has been turned into a sadistic hunting ground where wealthy individuals pay to hunt and kill humans in a twisted "game" of survival. Combining brutal practical effects with satirical humor, the film follows the group as they attempt to survive a night of gory traps, masked killers, and explosive surprises.
